yeah I would generally agree with that

2020-07-01 18:18:26 UTC

the radicals are taking over and they are doing jack shit

2020-07-01 18:18:28 UTC

I wouldn't mind a serious libertarian candidate to thin out the hyperpartisanship of the senate and house

2020-07-01 18:18:43 UTC

I mean, the moderate are awful because they are getting rolled over, but the radicals are the ones that are steamrolling. It's like asking who is worse, the drunk pedestrian or the high driver. The drunk pedestrian is stumbling into the rode, drunk off their ass, but the high driver shouldn't be there in the first place.

2020-07-01 18:19:29 UTC

The reason why I try to support libertarianism is because it can appeal to social conservatives and socially liberal people because it supports both social views as long as they do not interfere with each other

2020-07-01 18:19:37 UTC

@Froski in the words of Robert California "The falacy is that it is up to the steamroller. Its up to the object whether it will be rolled over or not."

2020-07-01 18:20:55 UTC

I mean, I disagree with that quote. Although here, the democrats could stand up for themselves, most of them have been in office forever and have been ineffective the entire time. If they started being effective now, then they'd be voted out.

2020-07-01 18:23:00 UTC

I personally am more of a social conservative and I support my religious beliefs and ideas, I also am fine with socially liberal people doing what they want as long as it doesn't affect me or anyone else. I think this idea could help bring in more support for the right from people with varying social views

2020-07-01 18:25:06 UTC

@AWOIII I agree conservatives could benefit from more libertarianism thats what is happening now i beleive with Trump

2020-07-01 18:25:31 UTC

@Froski I disagree there are many Democrats registered who are voting republican because the dems are ineffective

2020-07-01 18:25:53 UTC

I think that the key is that the right should really be pushing social libertarian views to appeal to more people

2020-07-01 18:26:27 UTC

Libertarianists are helping to disband the atf and other unconstitutional gun laws. Something that trump isn't a big supporter of

2020-07-01 18:26:31 UTC

My take

2020-07-01 18:26:32 UTC

@Froski only lefty infested shitholes vote for do nothing dems. I beleive if incumbents tried to be better moderates would come back to the polls

2020-07-01 18:26:46 UTC

I get that. But, the Democrats like Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi, Charles Schumer, and Maxine Waters are all being rolled over by the radicals.

2020-07-01 18:27:04 UTC

But they are all do-nothing and ineffective anyhow.

2020-07-01 18:27:23 UTC

I think there are some areas where trump is being a bit much like that time where he signed to ban bump stocks

2020-07-01 18:27:34 UTC

this is why I am kind of skeptical with trump

2020-07-01 18:27:37 UTC

@Kaiser good take and I agree there's always room for improvement of ones views i wouldnt say disband the ATF but I would say roll back 90% of gun regulations

2020-07-01 18:28:02 UTC

tbh I would support-fully automatic firearms for the civilian market

2020-07-01 18:28:11 UTC

@AWOIII same

2020-07-01 18:28:22 UTC

All gun laws are infringements

2020-07-01 18:28:36 UTC

@AWOIII bump stocks im on the fence about i understand the concern but no good person is going to shoot a school

2020-07-01 18:28:39 UTC

really annoying we can't buy guns with the fun switch

2020-07-01 18:28:56 UTC

Atf does regulate other things such as alcohol and tobacco, but their presence in gun laws is way too prominent

2020-07-01 18:28:58 UTC

Interesting how the ATF broke the first gun law

2020-07-01 18:29:02 UTC

They broke the 2a

2020-07-01 18:29:04 UTC

BRUHS

2020-07-01 18:29:22 UTC

@Froski true but there are still blue dogs in the house who are being rolled over who can still have some semblance of progress if they straightened out

2020-07-01 18:29:54 UTC

@Kaiser would you support getting them out of guna and tobacco?

2020-07-01 18:29:58 UTC

isnt there this one law that says you can buy full-auto if it is manufactured before 86

2020-07-01 18:30:06 UTC

Yeah

2020-07-01 18:30:17 UTC

Yeah. I think there are just issues throughout the democrat moderates and radicals.

2020-07-01 18:30:18 UTC

Yes

2020-07-01 18:30:23 UTC

In certain states there's a specific lisence for them too

2020-07-01 18:30:24 UTC

And explosives

2020-07-01 18:30:27 UTC

You'll have to get a commercial license to sell guns

2020-07-01 18:30:47 UTC

then buy another one to manufacture them for yourself

2020-07-01 18:31:02 UTC

@Froski there definitely are but Pelosi has crossed the line of becoming a radical her and schiff and schumer are no longer moderates

2020-07-01 18:31:06 UTC

Or just don't tell the government jack

2020-07-01 18:31:16 UTC

True.
