It is the first step that every leftist society takes to indoctrinate kids away from their parents
public schools were created to make uniform voters
Universal vouchers
what about a detailed curriculum given to every parent
The money follows the child
NO
like an annual packet showing what exactly they're learning
are you nuts?
No
and just as a baseline, i think "higher education" like college is something that is fine to be paid for, as of now. but i think forcing people to pay to educate their children is asinine and will regress society back to a point where only the wealthier get to educate their children. can you explain unviersal vouchers too me? i dont fully understand them
pretty sure im not nuts
Absolutely not. That's still the leftists controlling education
it was a just a suggestion no need to get your panties in a bunch
Sugar Goat, please be civil and respectful, even if people disagree with you. thank you/
Do you know what universal vouchers are?
I don't think you do.
i just said i didnt
im asking you too explain them too me
It means that each kid gets a certain amount of money assigned to educate them
I agree with keeping elementary school- high school education public, and having college be paid for
The parent picks the school. The big condition is that schools can't charge MORE than the voucher amount if they take it
Parents can do that noe
Now
But the public education system needs a big rework
Imma get off for the night see you guys tomorrow on the 4th
okay, so the parent gets a voucher, they take that voucher to the school, and the child gets to be at that school for that year, and they get a voucher each year or something?
There are private schools you know. You don't have to prove your kid is in any school.
and have a good one AWOIII! hope your 4th is great!
Sorry what’s a voucher?
See ya gn everyone
Exactly @Wardog
GN
It's like a coupon for a year of school at any institution that honors it.
Never heard of that before
We already have limited school vouchers.
They're in tons of states.
But there are all kinds of conditions.
okay, and that honestly wouldnt be much different than how public schools work, BUT it gives parents more choice, increases the quality of schooling, and may actually cost less than the public school system. right?
Yes!
