There is no way to do that and it IS terrible

2020-07-04 03:08:53 UTC

Because some people legitimately can’t afford education

2020-07-04 03:08:57 UTC

It usurps the parent

2020-07-04 03:09:23 UTC

It is the first step that every leftist society takes to indoctrinate kids away from their parents

2020-07-04 03:09:41 UTC

public schools were created to make uniform voters

2020-07-04 03:09:42 UTC

Universal vouchers

2020-07-04 03:09:47 UTC

what about a detailed curriculum given to every parent

2020-07-04 03:09:52 UTC

The money follows the child

2020-07-04 03:10:00 UTC

NO

2020-07-04 03:10:03 UTC

like an annual packet showing what exactly they're learning

2020-07-04 03:10:08 UTC

are you nuts?

2020-07-04 03:10:10 UTC

No

2020-07-04 03:10:17 UTC

and just as a baseline, i think "higher education" like college is something that is fine to be paid for, as of now. but i think forcing people to pay to educate their children is asinine and will regress society back to a point where only the wealthier get to educate their children. can you explain unviersal vouchers too me? i dont fully understand them

2020-07-04 03:10:25 UTC

pretty sure im not nuts

2020-07-04 03:10:26 UTC

Absolutely not. That's still the leftists controlling education

2020-07-04 03:10:45 UTC

it was a just a suggestion no need to get your panties in a bunch

2020-07-04 03:10:47 UTC

Sugar Goat, please be civil and respectful, even if people disagree with you. thank you/

2020-07-04 03:10:50 UTC

Do you know what universal vouchers are?

2020-07-04 03:10:55 UTC

I don't think you do.

2020-07-04 03:11:01 UTC

i just said i didnt

2020-07-04 03:11:07 UTC

im asking you too explain them too me

2020-07-04 03:11:23 UTC

It means that each kid gets a certain amount of money assigned to educate them

2020-07-04 03:11:24 UTC

I agree with keeping elementary school- high school education public, and having college be paid for

2020-07-04 03:12:02 UTC

> If parents do not get involved in their childrens education personally... odd shit might happen.

2020-07-04 03:12:05 UTC

The parent picks the school. The big condition is that schools can't charge MORE than the voucher amount if they take it

2020-07-04 03:12:18 UTC

Parents can do that noe

2020-07-04 03:12:20 UTC

Now

2020-07-04 03:12:25 UTC

But the public education system needs a big rework

2020-07-04 03:12:33 UTC

Imma get off for the night see you guys tomorrow on the 4th

2020-07-04 03:12:42 UTC

okay, so the parent gets a voucher, they take that voucher to the school, and the child gets to be at that school for that year, and they get a voucher each year or something?

2020-07-04 03:12:47 UTC

There are private schools you know. You don't have to prove your kid is in any school.

2020-07-04 03:12:50 UTC

and have a good one AWOIII! hope your 4th is great!

2020-07-04 03:12:59 UTC

Sorry what’s a voucher?

2020-07-04 03:12:59 UTC

It's like a coupon for a year of school at any institution that honors it.

2020-07-04 03:13:36 UTC

Never heard of that before

2020-07-04 03:13:37 UTC

We already have limited school vouchers.

2020-07-04 03:13:45 UTC

They're in tons of states.
