The government is not on our side. This community stands with groups overlooked and disenfranchised by the government. We stand with Black lives matter. We stand with the LGBTQ+ community. We support our trans activists. We stand with our native brothers and sisters. Those in power are not on our side. They serve the companies that own them, not the people. We haven’t spoken out about this yet, but as the Fourth of July comes along I realize that that was a mistake. We do not support the police. We will not stand for intolerance. Educate yourselves. Sign petitions. Donate. Protest. This is a movement, not a moment, and we will stand with the movement.
