and there is a XR250R, for 1000$

it needs some cosmetic work and some carb work, but still runs perfectly fine, its a 1986 model

but then theres a 2006 Yamaha YZ***450f*** for 1500$

in perfect condition no work needed and it comes with un-opened new plastics

Well the 86 xr250 will be fine but slow when the times comes when you need the throttle. The 450 can be overkill for some stuff but it can also make the steepest hills look easy. It just boils down to preference. Personally I would look for like a 2000+ year wise 125 2 stroke or a 250 motocross bike.

pretty much every 125 2 stroke makes like 25-33 horsepower so it will haul some ass with anyone riding it

yeah. the 450 will be twitchy since its a 450

jumps aren't a huge concern, but i;ve seen people wheely a 450f with just the throttle

like 1/4 throttle will be enough to clear a 200ft jump lol

you can get like 2.5-3 gallon tanks for them. idk about the xr250 but i know for sure they do on the yz450. plus you wont run out of gas in like 4 miles. dirt bikes are pretty fuel efficient. on that 450 you can probably go 50-80 miles just on 1.5 gallons

as long as I have it stickered and its under 35mph I can ride the dirt bike on the road to the trails

i'm already IN the mountains its just getting to the trail, its maybe about 4-5 *maybe* 6 miles to the trails
