Tradition isn't necessarily a bad thing; much of it is old wisdom we've forgotten the origin of.

2020-10-16 01:10:07 UTC

had i dream i went to jail yesterday

2020-10-16 01:10:12 UTC

uhm, question: why are the debates cancelled?

2020-10-16 01:10:17 UTC

I was raised religious, then I took a science class

2020-10-16 01:10:20 UTC

so

2020-10-16 01:10:21 UTC

trump with covid maybe?

2020-10-16 01:10:23 UTC

religious or not, honor other people's beliefs alsong as it isnt: lmao ur penis is small

2020-10-16 01:10:24 UTC

because they demanded it be done virtually, and Trump declined

2020-10-16 01:10:27 UTC

if you need a piece of writing to tell you not to kill; you are a psychopath anyways

2020-10-16 01:10:30 UTC

even tho he's tested negative

2020-10-16 01:10:37 UTC

most people just know they shouldn't kill

2020-10-16 01:10:39 UTC

i don't kill bible or not

2020-10-16 01:10:40 UTC

if debates are going to happen it needs to happen in person.... not over a fucking zoom call.

2020-10-16 01:10:46 UTC

nobody needs a piece of paper to tell them not to kill

2020-10-16 01:10:47 UTC

you dont need a anectdotal 2000 year old fart to tell you that

2020-10-16 01:10:51 UTC

ive had religion stuffed down my throat my whole life

2020-10-16 01:10:53 UTC

really easy to set biden up with a teleprompter at that point

2020-10-16 01:10:54 UTC

that's a give-in

2020-10-16 01:10:57 UTC

I used to be religious

2020-10-16 01:10:59 UTC

and forced to go to church

2020-10-16 01:11:03 UTC

same

2020-10-16 01:11:03 UTC

and I didnt care

2020-10-16 01:11:05 UTC

it didnt bother me

2020-10-16 01:11:15 UTC

I went to church as a kid, sunday school and everything.

2020-10-16 01:11:17 UTC

a lot of what they said was actually very relatable and good in terms of morals

2020-10-16 01:11:24 UTC

but I got driven away by "radicals"

2020-10-16 01:11:25 UTC

thanks for the answers

2020-10-16 01:11:28 UTC

people who were "fake" because of religion

2020-10-16 01:11:33 UTC

do catholics go to church every sunday?

2020-10-16 01:11:50 UTC

eg. one of my friends was gay and liked me back in HS, but he wouldnt say it because he was a strict religious person and had the fake image of this perfect like noble dude

2020-10-16 01:11:58 UTC

even you youre 100% atheist, study the bible as if it is a fable (STUDY IT AS ONE IF YOU ARE ATHEIST im not trying to offend anyone) @DrewDaPilot but the bible does provide good lessons, even if you dont follow it strictly

2020-10-16 01:12:12 UTC

im forced to go to church every sunday, sunday night, wednesday, every event, whenever the church needs help etc.

2020-10-16 01:12:23 UTC

eg. one of my other friends (who I still talk to today) interprets the bible literally, which is dangerous in many respects. Dehumanizes certain groups, believes in chemtrails, and I am not equating this all to the bible, but

2020-10-16 01:12:31 UTC

a piece of 2000 year old text shouldn't be interpreted literally

2020-10-16 01:12:36 UTC

why

2020-10-16 01:12:48 UTC

at best it should be anectdotal

2020-10-16 01:13:01 UTC

because, the piece tries to define how people live their lives

2020-10-16 01:13:06 UTC

I believe there are a lot of good morals in religion, and some bad ones. I cant believe that some crazy people have told me I cant have morals or be a morally good person unless I become very religioius.

2020-10-16 01:13:13 UTC

its a stark contrast from an old document like the constitution which protects individuality

2020-10-16 01:13:18 UTC

the constitution needs to be interpreted somewhat literally, else it looses all meaning
