so
i proposed the establishment vs anti establishment dichotomy
and then proposed that mainstream media serves the establishment
and so in turn, trump never gets any positive coverage
but that that has also lead to the rise of independent media
(zeducation being one example)
Guys I’m going to sleep
Good nite y’all, have bad dreams 👋
gn
sleep well
:3
I don’t dream
me either
Good night
if I do they are nightmares
Sad
I wonder who the “defund the police” crowd think theyll call in an emergency if they get their way?
They'll complain no one is answering when they dial 911
ive heard arguments they want funds to be reallocated to adding psychologists to help de escalate crime scenes
or just to be reallocated to other areas that "need it more"
the problem is government cant spend money well
so even if say there was a surpluss of money going into the law enforcement in a given county, taking away from there where at least we know the service is beneficial is like sending it into a black hole
and we've seen clearly that defunding doesnt help anyone in the last few months
is the dude in chicago still hanging
yeah seems like it
> the problem is government cant spend money well
@Drift yeah, how can a bureaucrat in a suit that lives in his own rich world spend **the people's money** efficiently? It's just impossible
Now that the police are gone, we need public security guards with guns who will enforce our laws, make arrests, and keep us safe.
Oh wait.
progress
Public security guards are way more protected than policemen. They look way more threatening, as well.
hear me out
getting a gun liscense should be a requirement for teaching certificates
So... teachers should have gun licenses?
Or what do you mean? I bet I didn't rly understand that
🤔
Yes
Ah, ok. A teacher shouldn't just bring a class to the classroom, it'd be a risk for everyone.
and then at least public schools should assign a percentage of random non disclosed staff and faculty to have guns
locked up somewhere say in the classroom
Yeah, in case of an emergency.
