so even if say there was a surpluss of money going into the law enforcement in a given county, taking away from there where at least we know the service is beneficial is like sending it into a black hole

Yes, it's actually a good idea. Not ever1 should have a gun near a school, only professionals. Because it's a place where children study and mostly are in peace.
