My home city butchered the August absentee so badly I applied for my ballot back in May and only received it a little over a week before the election. My brother who is also in college didn't even receive his till after the August election. just because absentee has been done for years, doesn't mean they can run it efficiently when significantly more people use absentee this year than any other time.

The USPS is only 83% successful with 3-5 day mail on time i believe

yea i registered... changed my address on my DL so i could buy a few guns. Also to submit a form to lower my interest rate.

I tried to mail a package two day last Wednesday and the earliest estimate was tomorrow but even that wasn't guaranteed.

I only try to use the USPS if its something government or international... other than that.. fuck that place.

This is why mail should be solely privatized. The USPS is a failure that gets billions of dollars of tax money dumped into it

I had a female boss who's mother was a retired postal worker try to tell me the USPS was completely self sufficient... I lost a lot of respect for her that day.

I got my official polling location notification in the mail today and got super excited.
