They should. Because if we don't keep up a spirit of government rebellion in this country the government will feel as though it can walk all over us again. *case and point the modern era*. LONG LIVE DIXIE!

@hhkl_-00 When you say us you mean southern people?
I’m south of Canada
Am I southern
I mean Americans. Theres plenty of Yankees that have the pride of the south
Oh I see
Canada is just America's hat.
My favorite dialogue on confederacy goes like this:
1.) They were fighting for states rights, not slavery
2.) The states rights... to keep slaves
America is Canada's pants.
Canada is Americas colder cousin
If you are south or Canada are you southern

@Sengorn Leopardae *understandable have a great day*
I mean I don't find the confederate flag offensive.....it just depends on the person
It was the states right to be free of tyrannical taxes and to express their legal right to seceed
When general Sherman finds the confederate camp
Luckily for me im over here in britain though its not great. Tbf
why does noone ever know that?

Like none of y'all are racist so...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Like, I see the nuances of the Civil War. I do.
I still don't give a doodle about the Confederacy or Union. They ended centuries ago.

@Sengorn Leopardae
More directly, the states' rights to leave the Union. The confederacy left the union to keep their slaves. The Union declared war on the confederacy to stop them from leaving. So the war was fought over whether or not they could leave. They left over slavery.
I'm not offended by the flag either
Not true
**that moment when someone calls you racist when your white without even talking to them**
im not offeded by it, but i do think that was a dark era
> **that moment when someone calls you racist when your white without even talking to them**
@Apathetic didn't u known... every white person has something to do with the KKK
Y’all remember world war 2
I searched up the racial jungle quote and snopes said it was "correct attribution"
Good times
the war didn't have a huge focus on slavery until around 1863 when Licoln dropped the emancipation proclamation (which btw freed NOONE)
> im not offeded by it, but i do think that was a dark era
@Izzy Say Whaat!? yeah same
I mean not gonna deny that I like wearing white clothes with pointy hats...
We beat up so many countries
Atleast like 15
> I mean not gonna deny that I like wearing white clothes with pointy hats...
@Apathetic haha
We even kicked our own ass!
> the war didn't have a huge focus on slavery until around 1863 when Licoln dropped the emancipation proclamation (which btw freed NOONE)
@hhkl_-00 Elaborate on "it not freeing noone".
Freed slaves that were residing in states actively rebelling against the Union... thats like Trump making a law that is for Mexico
So I understand.
