My wife and I voted earlier, we walked in, showed ID, got the ballot, colored in the box next to who we wanted to vote for, and then put it into basically a fancy scanner.

2020-10-28 15:13:35 UTC

I would leave it up to the state's

2020-10-28 15:13:45 UTC

abortion is not in the constitution

2020-10-28 15:13:46 UTC

Well thats the thing that shows that she is willing to keep abortion legal.

2020-10-28 15:13:49 UTC

it should not be a federal issue

2020-10-28 15:13:53 UTC

like, does only one person can go in?@mikeflarkin when do they ask for the ID and can a family come in together (just to certain point)?

2020-10-28 15:13:58 UTC

However it is the taking of a life.

2020-10-28 15:14:06 UTC

Yes

2020-10-28 15:14:10 UTC

> Well thats the thing that shows that she is willing to keep abortion legal.
@Superboy prime
She is willing to let the individual states choose.

what part of libertarianism do you not understand?

2020-10-28 15:14:19 UTC

She isn't an authoritarian or a statist. She is a libertarian.

2020-10-28 15:14:33 UTC

@ClaudeBlanche when we were waiting, we were together, but when we were voting, it was all separate and private. Has to be, to make sure nobody is basically meddling with your vote.

2020-10-28 15:14:42 UTC

Yeah but that is still prochoice or a coin toss I should say. @米饭和面条

2020-10-28 15:14:44 UTC

hm, ok

2020-10-28 15:14:49 UTC

2020-10-28 15:15:00 UTC

no it isn't lmao

2020-10-28 15:15:05 UTC

cause my father's voting and he wants me to go with him cause he doesnt know much english

2020-10-28 15:15:09 UTC

For the debate on abortion I just don't think it is a coin toss subject.

2020-10-28 15:15:15 UTC

yeah libertarians are all about not telling people to do anything

2020-10-28 15:15:25 UTC

...

2020-10-28 15:15:38 UTC

>leave it to the states
>YOU MUST BE PRO ABORTION

2020-10-28 15:15:46 UTC

On my way to the rally aaAaAAAAA

2020-10-28 15:15:49 UTC

oooo

2020-10-28 15:15:52 UTC

coool

2020-10-28 15:15:56 UTC

@ClaudeBlanche you can go with him to the place, and they do have people there that will help explain or translate if he has any questions. Mostly though you just see the candidates, there are boxes next to them, you fill in the boxes with a pen and that's it.

2020-10-28 15:16:15 UTC

I got my Expedited VIP Tickets

2020-10-28 15:16:22 UTC

oooh ok, thank

2020-10-28 15:16:34 UTC

Well she is pro abortion on some aspects just as she is anti abortion @米饭和面条 She is really just making it a coin toss which is what I don't agree with.

2020-10-28 15:16:37 UTC

i kinda want to see pictures of a rally sigh

2020-10-28 15:16:42 UTC

what the fuck

2020-10-28 15:17:10 UTC

@ClaudeBlanche of the ballot or how it's set up? Because the set up also kinda varies by state. It was different when I was voting in MD for example when I lived there

2020-10-28 15:17:17 UTC

Oh nevermind didn't realize you meant the rally

2020-10-28 15:17:17 UTC

ok... so she's pro abortion on some aspects and also anti abortion... what...?

2020-10-28 15:17:41 UTC

In the end you do what you think is right no one can stop you

2020-10-28 15:17:48 UTC

wasnt asking for the ballot pic but cool to know

2020-10-28 15:17:53 UTC

Well she is leaving it up to the states no? Which means that she is okay with whatever the states rules @米饭和面条

2020-10-28 15:18:25 UTC

or hear me out, she's a **libertarian** and believes that federal authority shouldn't have so much power

2020-10-28 15:18:39 UTC

I will say as far as abortion I prefer it being up to the states in a way. It means we don't have the federal government meddling in what different places have to do.

2020-10-28 15:18:51 UTC

@Superboy prime whether that is the general platform position on abortion, Jo Jorgenson's own statement is "Individuals own their bodies and have rights over them that other individuals, groups, and governments may not violate." So her standpoint is very much pro-abortion, since she is stating that nobody can make a law on the basis

2020-10-28 15:18:52 UTC

libertarians are all about smaller government, which means less rules and more free market

2020-10-28 15:19:14 UTC

@Froski I said she was pro abortion lol
