True. But refusing to believe another war will happen and hiding under NATO
The UN is fucked as well
The Netherlands is the Export of Europe but ''were fine theres totally no threat''
''maybe a little russia oh but well let the USA handle that''
Are there any Mods in here right now?
is their mindset
I am actually almost against military intervention, I think a country should only intervene if it's the last thing they should be doing. I think that diplomacy can keep it under control mostly. But we still need to get the military ready, just in case. 😉 😈
Yes. @Mackerell why?
Agreed, but I do think a strong military would help tremendously with that.
I've have a pic that is hilarious. I just wanted to know that it is funny and would like to share it with everyone without getting a warning.
> True. But refusing to believe another war will happen and hiding under NATO
Refusing is a pretty negative term to use; hoping or striving would be a better fit. Isn't it better to "Hide" behind NATO than to risk a war?
You can DM it to me, but probably not going into General.
The problem is the UN should be the ones intervening in human rights issues, but they somehow dont have the man power to do so, so instead the US gets pinned with it
Especially since another war would probably be nuclear
Seriously.
Well, the military would be strong, just that it'd act when needed. Not any time there's disagreement. Diplomacy is actually good for both sides.
Nah, if war breaks out world leaders are smart enough not to use nukes. It will be guerrila warfare and cyber attacks.
And the US gets blamed for not doing anything and also blamed when they do do something
If a country decides to nuke or do something really dangerous, **yes.** No more diplomacy, some things **just** need to get solved.
At this point The Netherlands isnt putting enough money into their military to be part of EUROPE
> Nah, if war breaks out world leaders are smart enough not to use nukes. It will be guerrila warfare and cyber attacks.
Smart enough? They will use the same logic as before during ww2, end the war quickly to save money and more lives
And if not that, we'll have another cold war
> And the US gets blamed for not doing anything and also blamed when they do do something
@Tex <Several People are typing> lol
know where i could post edgy memes
The only way the US can get hit is by cyber and small cells setup long ago, no standing army is gonna make it to US soil
Propagandistic and cultural wars are really effective.
No, because they know what MAD is, Mutually Agreed Destruction. You fire nukes at me? I will fire all of them back at you AND your friends.
We don't need armies anymore when we have agitators and activists. 😉
Just look at the US education system.
> know where i could post edgy memes
@guarddog We don't have an "edgy meme" section. They tend to cross lines.
okay
I dont disagree, the shit we are dealing with now is due to old Soviet shit set in motion long ago, why else do you think they're pushing communism
> No, because they know what MAD is, Mutually Agreed Destruction. You fire nukes at me? I will fire all of them back at you AND your friends.
So another cold war it is
Either way it's a loss
just curious
Note to self. Post close up pictures of knives, call them edgy memes.
plus you guys wouldnt like it
Yes true. But in order to keep diplomacy, you need a strong army. You can't talk like a big guy and when someone challenges you you just hide behind friends. Like school bullies lmao
@guarddog you have my permission to dm me all the edgy memes you desire.
What did I say? Big army, diplomatic usage of it.
So basically the more nukes you have the less your enemy wants to shoot at you
And nobody wants to shoot first
