best way is to ignore those unless you have strong or fast firing want

just wait for the fucking hiisi leaders and grenadiers

those will wreck your shit in level 3-5

also there is hellfire mages later on what will push your shit back so high that it aint even funny

but at least the game is really fun and no run is identical

It's cheating in the same way that using the dwarf fortress wiki is "cheating"

I lingered on the overworld for too long and a bunch of Acid Eyeballs spawned and started literally melting the world around me

I don't know if the game was punishing me for not going into the mine or what

there is group far far above the mine area what at times can agro the player from faaaaaaaar away

i dont think its punishment its just bug

usualy it happens near the Large tree if you try to climb it

at least i have pinpointed their location somewhere there as i have faced same death few times

it might be related to those eggs in the tree too

but one of beginner tips it took me some time to realise

Are you supposed to go down, get strong, then come back up?

Because i don't see how accessing a lot of the overworld is even possible with the starting stuff

that sometimes its smart to sacrfice average stuff to certain wands/spells by picking up that wand instead

usualy the lightning, trigger tentacles etc

also when ever you see any form of shield.. thats number 1 priority :P
