2017-08-16 21:46:22 UTC

almost all western countries have an obesity problem

2017-08-16 21:46:54 UTC

's almost like having an immense food surplus and an evolutionary adapotation to eat more when food is readily available to live off fat when it isn't leads to widespread obesity

2017-08-16 21:48:09 UTC

yknow what we could do to fix it, we could freeze dry the surplus food and airdrop it on third world shitholes where they live off mud and tree bark and whatever else

2017-08-16 21:49:00 UTC

are there any good lightish themes for firefox?

2017-08-16 21:49:24 UTC

>firefox >not using elinks exclusively

2017-08-16 21:53:40 UTC

what, you aren't browsing with w3m?

2017-08-16 21:53:41 UTC

@Kaytee the richest parts of sydney have no problem with obesity in its only the middle or central west that really have that problem and that can be tracked to little to no education, poor decision and centrelink

2017-08-16 21:53:41 UTC

plebs

2017-08-16 21:53:44 UTC

not being a massive fag

2017-08-16 21:53:54 UTC

sym jh

2017-08-16 21:54:09 UTC

The problem is the lack of information the central west have

2017-08-16 21:54:50 UTC

private school education sprouted roots in dappleface

2017-08-16 21:55:00 UTC

good boy, repeating the "rich people are better" meme

2017-08-16 21:55:19 UTC

how come, not even 1% of africa is obese?

2017-08-16 21:55:22 UTC

you cant explain that

2017-08-16 21:55:31 UTC

depends where you go

2017-08-16 21:55:38 UTC

egypt's obesity rate is _SUPER_ high

2017-08-16 21:55:39 UTC

like

2017-08-16 21:55:44 UTC

twice the USs last i looked

2017-08-16 21:55:57 UTC

I'm not exactly repeating it I'm just stating that rich have better education on healthy eating

2017-08-16 21:56:13 UTC

most of africa also kinda just doesn't have a food surplus to enable obesity

2017-08-16 21:56:22 UTC

Every year for a term we do diet and another term on working out

2017-08-16 21:57:02 UTC

That's standard for Australian private school you _have_ to be fit to get into mine, they don't let obease people in

2017-08-16 21:57:30 UTC

things that will stop obesity: stop making fucking 2000kcal meals covered in butter and sugar to begin with so people don't have to take classes and read labels to avoid getting fat

2017-08-16 21:58:04 UTC

Yeah that's a real problem, did you see what I ate last night

2017-08-16 21:58:46 UTC

I ate 1 packet of ramen and some pasta with sauce, the pasta wanted me to add 2 tbs of butter to it which would of made it 1000kcal

2017-08-16 21:58:54 UTC

that's the core of the us obesity problem, everything is super calorie dense because we turn our insane food surplus into sugar syrup then add it to everything that coems in a box bottle or can

2017-08-16 21:59:37 UTC

I average 1800kcal burn daily and my average intake is 1000kcal

2017-08-16 21:59:45 UTC

we could send our surplus grain to africa and south asia and help millions on millions not starve, _AND_ be healthier for it, _AND_ create tens of thousands of new jobs to do it

2017-08-16 21:59:48 UTC

but we just.... don't

2017-08-16 21:59:52 UTC

1800 burn? you call that fit

2017-08-16 21:59:54 UTC

?!

2017-08-16 22:00:19 UTC

It isn't ideal or the best but for a 15yo male with a broken neck and shoulder it's fine

2017-08-16 22:00:38 UTC

we'd rather make glucose-fructose syrup and inject it into our cheese, our bread, our canned vegatable

2017-08-16 22:00:47 UTC

4000kcal intake daily here, step up your game

2017-08-16 22:01:20 UTC

i aim for 1200 so that when i fail i still average out to 1600-1800kcal/day :^)

2017-08-16 22:01:20 UTC

I have a broken shoulder that is pinned and I'm missing 2 vertebrae lol I can only do cycling and running as excercise
