To not believe in the power of a deity is reasonable in the terms of science, but it's the bonds that are formed when we pray together that are most meaningful. The power of prayer cannot be denied, no matter what is believed. So even if you don't believe in god? Then believe in the spirit of prayer, because in my experience? There IS no atheist in a foxhole. Prayer draws families together. Prayers draw communities together. Prayer draws a nation together. Prayer can eve make allies of enemies. No matter what, have faith in the power of prayer, because the power of love that's put into the very act of praying can overcome all obstacles. So, pray when and where you can, for what you have the most faith in, whether it's god, or simply the better nature of humanity. Pray... because we cannot lose that which is most precious to us: Hope.
