it depends on what part of the country you were in. the western half of the country always seemed more lax on womens restrictions compared to middle america and the eastern half. but in my personal opinion, in society today, i dont need feminism. ive read the bible and if christian men had had any leg to stand on in regards to keeping wives as slaves, its not written in the king james bible and thats why women are treated appropriately in todays society. nothing feminists demanded originally was bad. the right to work, to vote and to own property is literally ordained by God in the bible for women. men are orderred to treasure thier wives in the bible. thats why feminism works in the west. try that in qatar or iran. i will wait lol.
like lets be real here
well i mean like
medieval europe
i'd want to see those feminists go protest in iran<:KEK:726877368601411624>
When people say women in America are oppressed
back in the day there was inequality you can't say there wasn't
that isn't a lie
it was written law
people could not read the bible. literacy was very poor at this time.
but today it isn't
Well it’s not the case now
The only way the rage factory stays relevant is by pretending that old problems are still going on
well i don't think that's the excuse it's just because religions have adapted
It would be like if the newspaper was still saying we were in the Cold War
im talking about whats written in the king james bible now not cherry picking time periods when the masses could not read the language they spoke.
meh nah idk i think christianity has adapted
honestly
yea the christian religion adapted. the people learned to read then started following Jesus. you should read it yourself. it will clear up alot of theological history for you
ever heard of the enlightenment?
why not?
its not religious to know what your talking about by reading the book your failing to critque accurately
goodnight guys
goodnight
goodnight
You don’t need to be religious to be a moral person🤷♂️
not critqueing it i'm just saying christian societies for 1900 years read the bible wrong is just a weird reason
true, i do think that religion helps tho
Religion is about quieting the natural human fears about existential dread and trying to explain the unexplainable
The curse of the mind is being too curious and thinking about questions that we cannot comprehend the answers to
You can be a moral person by relying on sound philosophical principles. It does the same thing as religion just with a different method
I’d ask those who disagree with that concept this question: would you rather hang out with someone who is conservative and not super religious, or someone who supports BLM/antifa who is super religious? To me that’s a clear choice
i never really thought religion as a way to be moral i just do it like which one makes my life easier and which one is probably true
but that's a individual reason anyways
But people who support antifa are communists... and communist dont do religion
I saw this one dude who was in a Christian Or Catholic Church wearing Black Lives Matter
T-shirt
They hate religion
Especially Christianity
They hate Jews too
