I primarily play no limit hold em, but I enjoy 7 card stud follow the queen too. 5 card draw and stud is a little too luck of the draw imo

But can still be fun

I enjoy hold em, I don't typically play for money though.

Friendly is good if you’re just playing with friends, but playing with money makes you think completely different and puts you in a different mindset even if you don’t know it

Only downside of playing for fun instead of money is that people are way more likely to just go all in on every hand and it gets repetitive, especially online

I just avoid playing for actual money because I already know I have an addictive personality, and I'd rather not take that risk personally. Nothing against people that do play for money, I just don't think it would be a great choice for me
