the main problem is that if you try to over tax the rich, they'll move themselves and their businesses away, cause a great wealth loss for that state/city/province and a loss of employment opportunity.

Secondly is that there is a demand for people to give of their labor for free, which no one wants...
IE: Healthcare. People want free healthcare. so then who pays for the doctors and nurses? the medical equipment??
