You’ll find that it rests on the premise of what is in the music itself

And the music is mainly glorifying violence, drugs, promiscuity, rebellion, and outward anger

It's the whole reason my parents broke the cd when my cousin played the "Fuck The Police" Song

like saying that is the same thing as saying video games cause violence

Any culture that glorifies those sort of things and where rappers are seen as folk heros will end up producing more than its share of violent crime🤷‍♂️just like any culture that is super focused on football will produce a lot of good football players

You end up manifesting what you focus on

It’s why we tell depressed people not to focus on it too much and find a positive external influence, to help pull them out of it

If they’re told to focus on it then they’ll spiral deeper and deeper

That’s how it works

I mean there's a song sang by Eminem basically saying Detroit is nothing but drug addict's, gangs, and violence which only made the problem worse

Poverty is not the only reason

If it were then the great society programs would have worked

And they didn’t

i listen to rap sometimes and haven'thad the urge to do any of those things

i just mean the background to rap is shady

If you live in a bad area and listen to it all the time then your subconscious starts to normalize that sort of stuff without you even realizing it

There are loads of reasons why black communities have a lot of issues and it comes down to rap culture, democrat policies and victim mentality

I used to be a huge fan of rap back when I was in high school😂knew all the different styles and tempos, regional accents

So it’s not like I know nothing about it

As being a part of the 21% of white people in the 2000s in Detroit, my parents forbid rap as they said it encourages crime which I can see both sides of the coin

but i just relate that kind of stuff to video games cause violence

If you spend all day gaming

You will eventually become detached from irl stuff

Gaming is ok in small doses
