I used to be a huge fan of rap back when I was in high school๐knew all the different styles and tempos, regional accents
So itโs not like I know nothing about it
As being a part of the 21% of white people in the 2000s in Detroit, my parents forbid rap as they said it encourages crime which I can see both sides of the coin
but i just relate that kind of stuff to video games cause violence
If you spend all day gaming
You will eventually become detached from irl stuff
i mean you're not wrong about me lol
but
It's the same with any media
Gaming is ok in small doses
dude i have never had the urge to anything in games i will do in real life
it distracts you from real life responsibilities
but i've gamed my ENTIRE life
But in large amounts it is killing us. Young men are less social, angrier, less physically well
Where do I post links?
Well some people don't have the capacity to think like that
idk
i've had a lot of social interactions on games
a lot
made a lot of friends
Same, why do you think Iโm on discord at all
Got my start on here because of gaming
like me
i'm more social online than real life
im awkward socially
Terrible game, I donโt even play it anymore but I still talk to people
i just disagree with the statement
I joined discord to help with a project and just expanded
<#720450552416305254> Iโm posting links here with multiple sources of far-left violence. These links can be used against the argument that all right wingers are violent
I'm not saying video games cause violence but people who are mentally unstable who have a hard time connecting game vs irl can lead to violence
so it's the few that are the problem
just like guns
I fundamentally believe that upbringing matters, culture matters, what is said around the dinner table and how it is said is important, how we dress and speak is important, and who we choose to be our friends matters
and just like rap
you can't say ALL people will do violence
why should the majority suffer for the minority
Exactly. Stop having technology raise your kids
If your kids are born in a poverty area, do everything possible to move to a better one
And donโt make the problem worse by turning a blind eye to what theyโre getting exposed to
Or what youโre exposing them to yourself
