as long as you don't game or do anything intensive, it's a shitposting machine
Core M and up can handle gaymes/photoshopping/video editing better
I wouldn't say the Xiaomi ones are overpriced basically, more of a laptop for a different purpose.
Like the Xiaomi Notebook Pro is more meant as a machine for doing professional work and has specs to reflect that
I feel embarrassed for asking before looking at the specs but thanks, that's a solid explanation
I'm gonna start saving up for a chinkbook because my current laptop gargles on tidal waves of semen every time I try to do anything on it
Even though I would mostly just use it for internet browsing and documents
So I think I'll go with the Jumper
I think a ThinkPad is still the way to go personally but for a new laptop made in current year the Jumper is really cool
like the stuff you get for the price you don't get in the shops
I'm going to throw it in a backpack so I'd prefer a thin laptop tbh.
battery life is great too
Plus ThinkPads are hard to come by over here.
Isn't it like 6 hours?
6-8, I got 8 last time
but the new v4 you can unlock the power limits and crank the performance up
shortens the battery
Obviously at the cost of battery
Yeah I figured
p cool though
Is it worth the sacrifice in battery life though?
Like is it a significant improvement
my dad has the laptop and his is a v3 so I can't test it easily
I think you could upgrade to the V4 bios maybe
That's pretty cool actually
Yeah makes it viable for simple gaming
So in short, once I do buy the Jumper EZbook I should go for the v4 version and upgrade with an SSD as soon as you can.
You'll get the V4 anyway if you order from most sites, and yeah an SSD is highly recommended
the storage it comes with you have about 30~gb left after windows 10 installs all its updates and it's really slow
you'll notice it dragging when you install things or open programs
stuff one of these bad boys in and you're set
Nice.
good convo fellas
I'll be sure to pick up an m.2 for mine when it comes
it's a great laptop m8, definitely feels premium
Yeah I'm going from a 2011 Macbook air I picked up broken for $100 a couple of years back
I bought a 15.6" ACER from a Facebook BSS group a couple of months ago and the build quality has annoyed me + too big
may as well use my desktop
