It depends on what type of atheist you are talking about. For example, some atheists pre-suppose that a god can not exist, which yes, requires faith, but some atheists (like me) take the position that they are simply unconvinced that creation is a thing, which lacks faith in anything. That being said, that doesn't make my position any more correct than yours so it's again, a pointless rabbit hole imo
