I mean Democracy has always been corrupt. The first election for Abe Lincoln was rigged against him. But I'm saying after Truman. There's not been one good Democratic president/politician who wasn't corrupt.

it's a Constitutional Republic and if you think it's fragile enough that the media claiming some dude is president will kill it, you're in for a surprise

@Juice the thing I’d argue is that there have been bad policies pushed by both sides of the aisle for a long time that have gotten us into this mess, particularly economically

America survived as a small collection of cold, starving, diseased, and poor farmers with guns facing the largest military on Earth

We have a much better starting point than they did, and they won

Honestly, Trump gave the GOP balls again. Reagan was really the last Republican president we had enthusiasm for before Trump

Unchecked free market stuff let big tech grow to insane heights and gifted them tyrannical power, and open borders let China flood our markets with cheap knock off goods. Both dems and Republicans pushed this stuff for a long time

Trump was on to something when he called for protectionism

We need tariffs and mercantilism to save our economy from being subverted by multinational corps

It’s become a huge problem

Both parties are full of traitors, the only reason to ally ourselves with the Republicans is so that we can take over the party and restore the foundational ideas of the country

I hope after Trump we dont go back to regular GOP politicians again

The career politicians in the GOP are just as corrupt as the dems

Companies like Microsoft donate 100 mil to destructive causes like BLM

Can’t name a more anti American movement

And nobody bats an eye

I'd say they're just as bad, since they claim to be good but aren't. At least the dems are open about their intentions

Quite frankly, I despise the GOP for their betrayal of Trump and us citizens

The GOP didn’t fight hard enough for him

They work actively against him

There was clear evidence of cheating in the election and they turned a blind eye
