Some doctors are like that, I find that's usually common with psychiatrists. The constantly wanting to put you on meds I mean.
Actually do their job and not tell people to get drugs just because they’ll make money off it
I think we mean the difference between treating and curing.
Back when I was like 10, I saw a psychiatrist and they said I have autism when I clearly don't and gave me medicine and when I got home I threw it away 😂
Real doc: just cuts things off. <:thinking:726878987837636698>
Was funny
I feel like that person must be proud for therting people/helping them in their domain so they were that as a patch of honor , I dont think it hurts you that much to call them that but if you dont want to that is also ok lol
Like I would call them doctor just to avoid having an argument
You're misunderstanding. I'm talking about someone with a PhD in philosophy that is insisting on me calling them "doctor."
They kept giving me depression meds, so then I was fat and even more depressed. But I actually had cancer right on my face. So duh, I was depressed.
You can actually treat cancer with measles
True I used to be almost 260 now I'm 140 through like 9 years
They cut it off. I'm fine now.
Good job, Reeee.
That how I am. If I had cancer I'd just say to the doctor..."well cut that motherfucker off right now then" lol
And what is the problem with that? It's just a miningles title lol, I am not sure how titles work in America but at least here that is their title
lol Just the minor kind a lot get on the nose. No big deal to snip it out.
Or is it a "professors"?
I am not sure
I am fine. Thanks. ❤️
I'm not calling someone who knows nothing about medicine "doctor," simply because they have a PhD in whatever field they've chosen. If you're a medical doctor, then yes, I'll call you "doctor (your name here)," but if you have a PhD in underwater basket weaving, you may have a doctorate, but you are not a doctor.
Also to be clear: I belive in the abolition of formality so if it was after me I would refer to everyone by their first name lol
I'll prolly end up getting cancer it runs in the family. But low key would recreate Breaking Bad just for the meme of it
Are they legaly a doctor or not because I dont know the situation in the US
Where I used to work, we would have to greet customers after they signed in, and if I went up to, say, Mr. Smith and said "hello Mr. Smith" they would basically "IT IS MA'AM" me but with it being "doctor."
guys I finished another exam just two more to go <:TE_widepeepoHappy:649731213740736542>
"No sir I sold drugs for the meme"
how are yall today?
That is a Southern thing here. The semi-formal "Ms. Betty." lol
Gucci
That's basically my gauge for it. If you can't practice medicine, I'm not calling you doctor.
That sounds good, like I prefer less formality in society
It's someone who practice medicine medic?
Guys even older than me calling me sir is annoying. Like, "Hey grandpa, less of the sir."
If they're an EMT or a first responder then I consider them a medic
I make an exception for psychologists. Them and medical are the only ones I call Dr
Like I want to abolish all pronoums and title and call people by their name from now on lol , that would just stop this whole mess of "oh call me a..." what is your name dude😂
Anyone seen The Financial Hub on YouTube? They be annoying me in my feed. They be like every hour posting "BREAKING NEWS: TRUMP ANNOUNCES HE WON THE ELECTION!" And then say in the vid, "Trump in a tweet said he won the election, guys!" I'm like..."no shit but that doesnt change the election results"
And they always have the same corny thumbnails lmao
