Not even
Whittling wood, cutting twine, usual box opening, forbidden things like prying, @porco
it depends, in Taiwan there are all-you-can-eat hotpots with beer flat rate included which are just super comfy to spend half evening in, talk and eat slow
it's not exclusively about the food
It was something along the lines of "well those chinese restaurants don't seem that trustworthy haha"
>queue 100 raids
And I'm not skilled with sharpening knives, which I'd like to remedy
Thought about starting with a wet stone set
Before buying something nice for once
@Sapharanth consider Ikea knife sharpeners. I'm not very skilled at it either but those automatic ones are better than me trying to do it manually
@porco tasks: cutting lmao (ok actually anything from cutting up fruit snacks at work, to cutting boxes, plastic seals, heck even first aid - removing splinters)
they work surprisingly well
electric sharpeners take off a lot of steel tho
get this somewhere
True, knew a super comfy Korean restaurant that was like old style country houses . Food was okay but over priced but think it's in bussiness because atmosphere
pocketable sharpener, very easy to use (just pull your knife out of it)
I got one of those from some weird event 7 years ago, since then it's my ECD knife https://www.mein-taschenmesser.de/item/images/19/1600x1200/19-Wenger-Kinder-Taschenmesser-10-t.jpg
This is my current EDC knife :)
So as you can see I'm not a man of standards
@fireglow then get one like mine
you know what's actually the comfiest knife tho
@fireglow mfw I went through all of germany twice with an illegal pocket knife without knowing I even had it in my backpack
Same, in the UK
I'm the criminal
ignore their garbage ads, cold steel recon 1 feels SO good in the hand
even saved my life once. Some car crashed into my car while driving, I came off the road and my seat was blocked. I was lucky to have it so I could cut my way out of the car seat
it's got a full secure grip like a fixed blade
also they arent kidding about that lock
since then I have it all the time just in case
yea I carry my Victorinox with me at all times too
a really good xmas gift too
>recon 1
>$169.99
wew
i used to carry a fixed blade, current job wont let me though
the lock can support three times my weight without failing
it's crazy
my most expensive is the spyderco endura 4 so far, and I'm in love absolutely
errrrrr did you stand on your knife
it sounds like that lmao
