Basil was my biggest producer herb wise

i was going to blame my basil parsley and oregano dying prematurely this year on covid but the wife gig was better.

My basil.. and my peanuts are still alive

I dehydrated it all

I am just leaving the peanuts for next year though

My basil died with my tomatoes and peppers

I grew some peanuts last year they did ok

Our soil is weird here, its like semi swamp, sandy clay

Where I am in texas atm

That is weird

Because the clay is down feet, we occasionally have standing water

My onions and leeks look all vibrant and happy right now

I should toss some broccoli in my planter box

U could grow rice in that

Prolly, I know they grow some near Houston

Broccoli is the bane of my existence! I never get it’s timing right

I know I can grow lettuce in a planter

They keep the water in it to keep the weeds out

Should have warmish midday and cold nights for at least 2 months

So its prime time to grow baby broccolis

I’m gonna start it indoors this year since I have lights and shelves now

I dont have room or I would lol

Poppies are fantastic for a number of things

Tobacco is a great antiseptic

Prickly ash and white willow are good pain killers

where i live there are plently of tobacco farms that have been around for the 20 years i've lived here
