This is also true, some local level governments will not comply. Ie my school district and county said f the covid guidelines because education is priority. They got in trouble of course but local governments in some areas will stand up against stuff from federal level

i saw vids in cali with police going to people's home confiscating their weapons because they were registered and then laws passed that made those particular weapons illegal

Well. That’s inaccurate. There are home made guns, you can even buy the parts yourself and assemble it and it wouldn’t be registered. Lots of guns the government doesn’t know exist or know the guns whereabouts
