Isn’t it really weird that states they have a lower minimum wages have a much lower unemployment rate then states you have a higher minimum wage but then again states that have a much more open economy right now also have lower unemployment than shuttered states looking at you California and New York

You also have to factor in different labor laws, different economies, different employment options. It's not as simple as minimum wage alone. Minimum wage is only one variable in a complex equation

I mean yeah there’s other factors into it but the biggest one does vary with minimum wage but you also have states that you know are more big tech in your seats and are more farm related and that certain jobs offer different in all regulations so I can see where you’re coming from but my point kind of still stands that minimum wage is a big factor when it comes to stuff like this

Cutting spending won't really help much, since we're not really "printing money" we're selling debt. It's a complex system. What we could do is raise interest rates, but that's a double edged sword.
