I think that government influencing hospitals is hurting more then good.

Medicare provides healthcare to a lot of senior citizens who need it. The media is going to parade every dying grandmother around and make you look like Satan

You hear about Trumps bill that makes prices more transparent? I haven’t looked too deeply into it, but from what I hear it might help reduce prices

I think it’s a good start. Really the best move imo is dismantling health insurance

Well no I do know that there’s hospitals that get money from the gov and still charge extremely high for a profit. So getting the gov out and having people get private insurance is in my opinion the way forward

But insurance companies kill competition in the medical field

As long as it isn’t sudden. I don’t like the idea of dismantling an entire economic field at once is a good idea. I don’t like any major economic decision at once actually

So let’s say you have to get a cat scan then you go to the hospital and they show you the price of cat scans. This allows for man who need cat scans to find a good hospital with low cat scan costs
