i mean stricter lockdowns nationwide. i’m honestly not sure how it works legally i haven’t looked into it, i just know lockdowns were more severe in other countries. i think it depends more on people being stubborn. really the only things that should be open are hospitals, grocery/pharmacy, gas. obviously it’s hard to live like that but it’s worked and lowered the death rate and countries were able to get back to normal. and businesses wouldn’t need to be open and people wouldn’t need to risk their lives if the government temporarily financially supported them. other places can and are doing it. i really don’t think it makes anyone lazy or a socialist. it keeps people safe and it’s temporary. if people know they won’t be supported forever (just a few months to a year) they’re not going to just stop going to work. that’s all i think really. i don’t think it’s what will happen here but it’s what should in order to protect people.
