I just heard something that sounds 100% right

2020-09-17 12:11:09 UTC

how does that make sense?

Would you like me to dumb it down?

2020-09-17 12:11:21 UTC

yes

2020-09-17 12:11:23 UTC

Trump will win election night with a landslide

2020-09-17 12:11:36 UTC

But then the mail in votes will come in

2020-09-17 12:11:46 UTC

And then there will be issues

2020-09-17 12:11:49 UTC

how long does it take for elections to end

2020-09-17 12:11:53 UTC

in the UY

2020-09-17 12:11:53 UTC

And somehow it will all be overturned

2020-09-17 12:11:55 UTC

US

2020-09-17 12:12:04 UTC

Technically 24 hours

2020-09-17 12:12:07 UTC

Usually

2020-09-17 12:12:18 UTC

all votes are counted after 24h?

Ok basically, Not all scientists are like the mainstream "scientists", like how Not all cops are corrupt and have bad training like the police that go mainstream in videos. There are good ones and bad ones in each field of work.

2020-09-17 12:12:38 UTC

All the main voting happens in one day

2020-09-17 12:12:42 UTC

right and the bad scientists are getting all the news just like all the bad cops

2020-09-17 12:12:55 UTC

That night or the morning after, the president is announced

2020-09-17 12:13:04 UTC

you don't hear about all the scientists that disagree with global warming

2020-09-17 12:13:06 UTC

there are only a handful of scientist researching climate change causes, easy to set up/pay

2020-09-17 12:13:16 UTC

the bulk is just concerned with its effects

2020-09-17 12:13:18 UTC

you don't hear about all the cops that disagree with racism

I have heard plenty because I'm interested in that field alot ( scientist part ) but alot of people on both sides just want to see the bad so they have something to use and push for their own ideology

2020-09-17 12:14:08 UTC

no one is clailing all scientists are bad its just that goverments highlight the idealogical conformat scientists and results

2020-09-17 12:14:12 UTC

did you hear unbiased things?

Plenty, there is alot of biased when it comes to global warming and biology fields because again, political ideologies, but it's not hard to study others who are neutral on the matter and actually gave an honest opinion

2020-09-17 12:15:13 UTC

Science doesn't lie <:KEK:726877368601411624>

2020-09-17 12:15:37 UTC

this guy spent YEARS of his life researching climate

2020-09-17 12:15:39 UTC

People who make it their goal to try to discredit science are just grasping for straws

2020-09-17 12:16:29 UTC

not spaceshot himself but the person he got the research from

I skimmed through the first 5 minutes, I'll watch it later when I wake up, but it sounds pretty neutral and reasonable from the skimming I saw

2020-09-17 12:18:15 UTC

i hope you do watch it, it shows what's real and what isn't

I saw a comment of someone saying "I hate hearing climate change, just plant more trees"

<:joystroke:670514660788928522>

We do need more trees, but it's inevitable our planet is getting hotter

2020-09-17 12:19:30 UTC

have you seen that futurama episode where they planted so many trees the oxygen turned flammable

No I haven't watched TV in a long time

Only rarely to catch up on old shows

2020-09-17 12:20:04 UTC

it's a good episode
