People are so worried about free healthcare they just ignore all points made about the *quality* of said healthcare

2020-09-23 18:02:02 UTC

yep

2020-09-23 18:02:04 UTC

It’s just like with USPS

2020-09-23 18:02:27 UTC

If it’s funded by the government it doesn’t have to worry about being good quality

2020-09-23 18:02:42 UTC

Because any time it messes up the government just gives it a slap on the wrist

2020-09-23 18:03:06 UTC

Damn i wish we had free healthcare. I dont think theres anyone on earth who wished that they could go to the doctor and not pay a dime. But we dont live in fairy land.

2020-09-23 18:03:10 UTC

and people already have forgotten that private healthcare quite literally *saved* the country

2020-09-23 18:03:47 UTC

When all this shit started, the competition between hospitals and whatnot caused for a push to get the necessary equipment and resources and help people

2020-09-23 18:03:54 UTC

yeah

2020-09-23 18:04:03 UTC

canada is proof of that.

2020-09-23 18:04:05 UTC

you cant expect democrats to know that

2020-09-23 18:04:09 UTC

the lack of equipment there is horrible

2020-09-23 18:04:24 UTC

canada as a country is about as firm as a jello shot

2020-09-23 18:04:32 UTC

I don’t get why anecdotal evidence isn’t counted as evidence

2020-09-23 18:04:38 UTC

Like sure sometimes it can mean jack diddly

2020-09-23 18:04:42 UTC

Nobody works for free so free health care just off that won't work

2020-09-23 18:04:54 UTC

But with circumstances like people who lived under a regime or communism

2020-09-23 18:05:07 UTC

Or people who personally experienced the cons of free healthcare

2020-09-23 18:05:18 UTC

my grandpa grew up in russia

2020-09-23 18:05:22 UTC

I think anecdotal evidence can be good, but the reason its all or none is because anecdotal evidence is easy to completely make up, exaggerate, and its not really quantifiable. those things make it not very useful in a real debate.

2020-09-23 18:05:28 UTC

Obamacare was terrible

2020-09-23 18:05:47 UTC

You’re gonna take the word of someone who lived through the thing you talk about. Or at least you *should*

2020-09-23 18:06:13 UTC

"Affordable Care Act" = paying double or even triple for medical coverage. Affordable Care Act was about as affordable as Black Lives Matter stands for actual black lives.

2020-09-23 18:06:25 UTC

You ever just find yourself eating plain noodles for lunch because you aint got anythinnelse to eat?

2020-09-23 18:06:30 UTC

no

2020-09-23 18:06:35 UTC

a couple times

2020-09-23 18:06:40 UTC

no

2020-09-23 18:06:56 UTC

You ask someone from Canada what their healthcare is like

2020-09-23 18:07:01 UTC

And they’ll tell you it’s shit

2020-09-23 18:07:19 UTC

I have not talked to a single Canadian who liked their healthcare

2020-09-23 18:07:20 UTC

you can make a sandwich out of one pice of bread

2020-09-23 18:07:23 UTC

I mean, you can also listen to Crowder about it since he is actually Canadian... and he came here because it sucked there.

2020-09-23 18:07:24 UTC

Iv talked with a few canadians and they say they got wonderful healthcare

2020-09-23 18:07:39 UTC

Yeah I was tempted to bring up Crowder

2020-09-23 18:07:43 UTC

do they specify public or private?

2020-09-23 18:07:45 UTC

hes an amazing example

2020-09-23 18:07:49 UTC
2020-09-23 18:07:55 UTC

bruh

2020-09-23 18:08:04 UTC

They dont specify which one to the ones iv talked with

2020-09-23 18:08:13 UTC

sure not everybody likes him and some of his less than desirable qualities have grown recently, but hes smart, hes quick, hes confident, and he has experience.

2020-09-23 18:08:25 UTC

> They dont specify which one to the ones iv talked with
@Zilla ask them to specify
