> the question is where do you draw the line. when will a police officer go against the force and stand up for his morals and say 'no, i will not do this'?
@fuckyourtunes this didnt happen in most regimes
hey it's froski! how you doing man?
not any I can think of
Dude, the argument is an extremely false equivalency. Cops are not arresting people for the purposes of genocide. Cops are arresting people for the purposes of a legal system to determine whether they are going to charge a person.
There are plenty of officers who don't stand charge on things.
Yep and germany outlawed beeing jewish
That being said, please, if you are going to make the argument that certain laws that they enforce are unconstitutional, please tell me those unconstitutional laws.
so police got en
froski soon it might be illegal to post information online that doesn't align with MSM narrative.
do you think the police will enforce that?
Police in germany will arrest you for hate speech and not wearing masks in us too
No. (1) it'll be ruled unconstitutional by the supreme court under the 1st amendment.
The line has been stretched already and it is clear police are just the regime mercanaries
california is already issuing fines for people who spread information about mail in ballots
and im sure they will find some loophole they can exploit
#biden2020- George Floyd
to subvert from the constitution. like hate speech or something
Hate Speech has already been discussed by the Supreme Court. It isn't a legally cognizable harm.
why do the secret service show up at peoples doorsteps when they threaten a president then? isnt that 1st amendment
in germany there are unconstitional hatespeech laws and police enforce them
theyre slowly but surely chipping away at your rights, with the help of the public servants or police.
all whilst still believing in your little constitution to save you
The US has a separation of powers, as it should. The police are simply the executive branch arresting people who break the laws that are set forth by the legislative branch and determined to be constitutional by the judicial branch.
No, @fuckyourtunes the 1st amendment does not protect Calls to violence or defamation.
@Karat Nobody cares about Germany. That isn't the US.
Police is the same on the whole world lol
they follow law no matter how illegal
@Froski so if there is SOME speech not protected by the constitution. what im saying is there is ample space for loopholes to be created to silence a narrative they dont wish to popularize.
also power separation is just an illusion
You are an idiot if you truly believe that. The US has a constitution that protects are rights as inalienable rights.
> You are an idiot if you truly believe that. The US has a constitution that protects are rights as inalienable rights.
@Froski how are gun regulations doing for ya?
or maybe taxes?
Money?
yeah froski hows the 16th amendment of the constitution treating you?
do you pay income taxes?
What about the fact that drug bans are unconstitutional
@fuckyourtunes speech that is understanably not protected. Defamation is a civil issue for people who lie. And if I told someone to shoot someone, that isn't protected, it is for good reason.
Goverments shit on their constitutions and the police are gladly enforcing them
I gotta agree with @Karat
> What about the fact that drug bans are unconstitutional
@Karat How are they unconstitutional? Now that you have finally tried to back it up, please make the argument that drug laws are unconstitutional.
Yes, I pay income tax. I disagree with gun regulations. But that is lefties creating these regulations.
violates the principles of a limited government embodied in the United States Constitution.
