where is my sanrenmu sandvik safety razor

2017-12-04 00:00:15 UTC

FUCKING ZWILLING RETURN MY EMAILS YOU COWARDS

2017-12-04 00:00:17 UTC

he handle looks thicker tbh

2017-12-04 00:00:26 UTC

german steel folded just one time because it's not so shitty as japanese

2017-12-04 00:00:48 UTC

sandvik is swedish steel

2017-12-04 00:00:57 UTC

needs less folds

2017-12-04 00:02:01 UTC

@Patrick The one I got on Ali is about half as heavy, too. Maybe the genuine is weighted?

2017-12-04 00:02:58 UTC

probably material difference in addition to the original having a thicker handle and not being hollow

2017-12-04 00:03:11 UTC

I assume the chink one maybe be hollow

2017-12-04 00:03:22 UTC

I think the original is turned steel, seems chink ones are cast zinc

2017-12-04 00:03:45 UTC

Not like it'll be much of a problem. Heft in a razor is overrated

2017-12-04 00:03:51 UTC

Literally what does it matter though? It's just a vehicle for the blade

2017-12-04 00:04:08 UTC

not sure if I should pull the trigger and buy the adjustable one since I already have the feather one

2017-12-04 00:04:09 UTC

God, people will pay out of the nose to be snobs about anything, huh?

2017-12-04 00:04:09 UTC

Better feel for shaving, I guess.

2017-12-04 00:04:51 UTC

@Matthew it can affect the shaving but not by a large margin, I think it's mainly about comfort and feel

2017-12-04 00:05:02 UTC

The Gillette I had was nice and hefty but I honestly preferred my super light shavette if it wasn't for the time factor

2017-12-04 00:05:09 UTC

as in not the result but more the process

2017-12-04 00:05:59 UTC

I mean, sure. but this $4 razor was the comfiest shave I've ever had. Would the $104 Merkur be 26 times comfier?

2017-12-04 00:06:30 UTC

I currently use this one

2017-12-04 00:07:18 UTC

A 8 dollar used Gillette off eBay is comfy. By the way boiling nickel plating in cream of tarter strips it off. But also leaves a nice rose gold finish.

2017-12-04 00:07:49 UTC

why would I boil my razor in tartar sauce

2017-12-04 00:08:14 UTC

To clean and disinfect

2017-12-04 00:08:15 UTC

@johnfrum pics?

2017-12-04 00:08:15 UTC

cleaner shave

2017-12-04 00:09:12 UTC

I misinterpreted boiling the razor in water and then applying paste of cream of tarter.

2017-12-04 00:10:17 UTC

even better

2017-12-04 00:10:56 UTC

@Patrick sleeping with the fishes.

2017-12-04 00:11:06 UTC

Don't take nice things /out/

2017-12-04 00:13:15 UTC

??

2017-12-04 00:13:42 UTC

He dropped his razor in the stream like a fucking tard

2017-12-04 00:13:47 UTC

Cri

2017-12-04 00:17:46 UTC

if you live in the US there's used and not perfect looking but functional safety razors on ebay. Hipsters want new old stock so things are cheap on that end.

2017-12-04 00:18:45 UTC

>using a razor someone else has shaved their cock and balls with

2017-12-04 00:18:50 UTC

literally AIDS-tier

2017-12-04 00:19:23 UTC

>what is boiling in a soup can

2017-12-04 00:19:52 UTC

Something you wouldn't have to do if you bought your own fucking razor

2017-12-04 00:19:59 UTC

they're so fucking cheap, why buy used

2017-12-04 00:20:24 UTC

Muh Americana.
