They're eating hard food early, but it's not as good as nursing for them.

I feed them soft food off and on to bolster them, but too much soft food is bad for them.

Last time mama cat had babies we got rid of them and her boobs got all hard

Kicker's kittens are about to go out. She's pretty much weaned them.
