Guys I seriously need help
sup
I’m in a debate, I need info about tamir rice
Was that really out of hate, or was it a biased source?
according to wikipedia it was a screw up of the dispatch as they didnt relay the information later told by the person reporting its most like a kid with a fake gun
*"At the beginning of the call and again in the middle, he says of the pistol "it's probably fake."[7] Toward the end of the two-minute call, the caller states that "he is probably a juvenile"; however, this information was not relayed to officers Loehmann or Garmback on the initial dispatch"*
So much
most likely untrained nervous officer who got the wrong info
also really easy to mistake a 12yo boy from a distance for someone older
since they had to engage from a distance according to their protocols in these situations
i guess..
I would say seeing a gun in the line of an officer from a distance should be seen as a threat. The child shouldn't be having a fake gun outside in the first place.
kids should be able to play with toys
problem is the dude reporting it is paranoid af
Depends on the gun imo.
Ughhh I'm so frustrated
Ok
i mean if its an airsoft gun sure
If the gun is black and looks pretty realistic, I would say the shooting was justified.
but if its plastic garbage making pew pew sounds
i wouldnt say its justified
It would be difficult to tell if a gun looks fake.
My mother is such a Karen ☹️
look mate shooting a 12yo holding a toy gun is unjustified period.
problem is police training and communication
