I don't know anybody that is pro-abortion. I remember the Tom Leykis pro-abortion rant about fetuses being parasites. That is a gross mis-characterization of 99% of people who begrudgingly support the right to choose only in the earliest stages of pregnancy.

Late-term abortions are an aberration and should practically never be performed - and certainly NEVER simply because a woman changed her mind about being a mother. In fact, I don't know enough about late term abortions to know why they wouldn't just take the baby c-section. I will have to look into that unless someone can point me in the right direction.

Almost all species have to provide for their offspring after they are born in some capacity. Ours just happen to take years.

I agree... i have only heard that they can only be performed when they life of the mother is in jeopardy. I just don't know what that means or why they couldn't perform a C-Section. I was a big baby (almost 10 lbs, 25"). - my mother was 5'4" and weighed 87lbs when she got pregnant. After 48 hours of labor, I was taken c-section. Once they saw how big I was, the doctors told my mom that had I made it "further", we would have both died.

You may not believe this but that flag means a lots of different thing to lots of different people.

Oh wow.. well thank god you and you’re mother were in safe hands! I agree, once a woman is late-term I really think C-Section / natural birth should be the only options. Seriously though, if late-term abortions even head in the direction of being a general option I think the majority of people would agree it’s barbaric, or at least I hope they would!

Understood... I know that I would've wanted my mother to live if it came to that... and I know that she would not have wanted to live had I needed to be sacrificed for her to live. Someone was looking over us that day and it all worked out.
