Not at all, it all involves personal autonomy and potentially harming other people.

2021-01-08 14:43:25 UTC

@Lilbigstuff there wasn't much destruction, I imagine if there had been lots of antifa it would have been way worse. The demonstration was a courageous act by patriotic heroes even if some antifa were there being destructive.

99% of the crowd was peaceful. this group was inappropriately contentious in your face with police. It was very wrong and tragic. Even this group it could be most of the poeple were following.

2021-01-08 14:44:36 UTC

Sure, agree with this. But pinning your own movement's internal issues on someone else is ridiculous in my opinion.

2021-01-08 14:45:00 UTC

Just the same with the left blaming Trump Supporters for infiltrating BLM and inciting violence.

2021-01-08 14:45:01 UTC

Abortion is a complex issue since choice is apprlied absolutely to the mother and not at all to child, father, parent or God

2021-01-08 14:45:15 UTC

Same with mandatory vaccinations.

2021-01-08 14:45:32 UTC

Same arguments.

2021-01-08 14:45:42 UTC

Different context.

2021-01-08 14:45:48 UTC

S'what an analogy is.

2021-01-08 14:46:40 UTC

Keep in mind, I'm pro-life. I think it's people's own responsibility to take risk reducing measures to avoid abortions, but it's a very similar argument.

2021-01-08 14:46:47 UTC

And I keep my principles as principles.

2021-01-08 14:48:04 UTC

I don't selectively apply principles. Kinda counter-intuitive to having a principle.

2021-01-08 14:48:05 UTC

Yes and I don't take the blame off of them. I would emphasize the people leading tho as most responsible whoever they were

2021-01-08 14:48:26 UTC

Everyone is responsible that engages in the mob mentality.

2021-01-08 14:48:36 UTC

Everyone has personal choice.

2021-01-08 14:51:12 UTC

"you shall not follow a mob in doing violence" Moses

2021-01-08 14:51:21 UTC

Agreed.

2021-01-08 14:51:29 UTC

Therefore it's no excuse.

2021-01-08 14:53:11 UTC

Ex 23:2 You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice,

2021-01-08 14:54:01 UTC

@Maw ok, here. Vaccinations are geared toward an individual person. Which if given a choice to take or not to take could only affect themselves personally, even though one might say that the person could affect others by their choice.
While Abortion involves more than one person when the choice is made. The Mother and the Unborn child which is the initial while after the choice is made others affected are numerous. Though, there are certain situations where it could be understood and is consider just. It is a case by case issue on Abortion.

2021-01-08 14:54:27 UTC

I follow the same principles as Oliver Wendell Holmes, one of the best associate justices in American history for the first amendment and topics of liberty. "Your freedom ends where my rights begin." Or as he put it: "Your liberty to swing your fist ends where my nose begins."

2021-01-08 14:55:02 UTC

Incorrect. Vaccinations' primary goal is to create herd immunity and protect other people.

2021-01-08 14:55:12 UTC

by the way... the only word doubled down on in Moses books is justice.... Justice, justice shall you pursue. Due 16:20

2021-01-08 14:55:14 UTC

@Maw now i like that quote

2021-01-08 14:56:13 UTC

case by case case law is fine

2021-01-08 15:05:17 UTC

If you want to stay inside your home and never interact with society in a way that creates a vector risk for transferable disease, by all means you shouldn't be required to be vaccinated. I can easily make the argument that if you want to interact with society on a person-to-person basis, that states (specifically the state, and not the federal level) can make you opt into an agreement where you are required to take a vaccine to engage in person-to-person activity with society.

2021-01-08 15:05:26 UTC

Either agree or not agree, you have that choice.

2021-01-08 15:05:44 UTC

sorry... the vaccinations only address the spike DNA and actually doesn't give immunity the vaccination lessen the impact if you get it

2021-01-08 15:06:11 UTC

You do not understand vaccines, I apologize. Not even the very basic concepts.

2021-01-08 15:06:38 UTC

The basic concepts of a vaccine are that sequences of RNA are introduced to create an immune system response.

2021-01-08 15:06:38 UTC

This vaccination doesn't give immunity

2021-01-08 15:06:44 UTC

Isn’t this an election forum?

2021-01-08 15:07:09 UTC

At the moment it's the politics channel, and policy is politics.

2021-01-08 15:07:16 UTC

As I was saying:

2021-01-08 15:07:19 UTC

Fair fair.

2021-01-08 15:08:37 UTC

The RNA sequence that was chosen was its unique spike protein, which while it's a narrow-in-scope vaccination that makes it hard to achieve long-term immunity, it's still effective at creating short to medium-term immunity when taken multiple times.

Think of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine as repeating a name to yourself multiple times in effort to remember the name better, but only part of the name.
