Car wreck. Two lumbar, two ribs, one fifth metatarsal all typically not operated on so long recovery.
I wish. It kept me from the protest.
Good God...
I like to cook plus I really can't afford to eat out much
I just got out of the boot last month.
It is so much fun until I chop serranos and have an itch on my face!
I wanted to go too but no caregiver to take my place
Oh goodness. Bless you and what you do.
I am glad you weren't hurt worse been in a really bad car wreck myself. Had 135 stitches and was basically scalped but could have been way worse since I was thrown from and rolled over by a 1 ton van
Caregivers have a special place in my heart. The best I have met are unbelievably caring and trustworthy.
It's hard for me to envision something I would feel strongly enough about (and figure it would make a difference) to go protest.
I am glad you are here.
Appreciate it.
That must have been a nightmare.
Still have issues 20+ years after the fact
I think that is more common than people think. It’s hard to predict long term issues down the road right after a wreck and if things are not obviously wrong they get overlooked.
Don’t judge me. I don’t like going places alone and would have to find someone to go with me.
Agreed
more fun to go with someone
I probably would have found a family of five once there and clung to them.
rent a room with a family?
That was another thing. I didn’t want to go and not have anywhere to stay or freak out because I didn’t know anyone and I would have to carry a chair with me and I didn’t want to explain that my back is broken. Having one person would have been worth it.
Tf you going to do with a public transportation bus?
Ride it to dc protests.
I want to convert one of those buses into like a place to live ..
But I can't drive a bus legally.
busses are expensive
That's a government surplus bus.
and space is tight like a boat... or mini house
My boss has like a Mercedes van RV...
How hard would it be to get a license for it
That's pretty cool.
You take a written test and get a CDL permit...
But then the driving part is with the actual truck that requires a CDL or bus or whatever...
Hire a driver/valet/PA. I like where you're going with this.
I was thinking about just hiring a driver to drive it to where it's going..
Then you have to figure all that crap out...
Nothing's ever easy...
