Oh, I'd agree on that oddly enough. I think psychadellics have more promise than marijuana in terms of medicinal use.

There should be three tiers imo

First are social drugs you can take regularly with little to no bad effect, like alcohol, nicotine, weed, salvia etc. Second would be strong, but non-neurotoxic or non-highly addictive substances like psychedelics and novel dissociatives. And third for the highly addictive, dangerous/neurotoxic stuff like opioids, benzodiazepines, deliriants, coke.
