gh i miss how weird computer stuff used to be sometimes

the hardest thing about building my current pc was stuffing it all into the case lol

even though it was a pain and sucked at the time there's just something about hardware actually being wildly different from machine to machine, even pc compatibles were that way for a good while

like, if i could swing new server prices i'd get a thunderX box in a heartbeat

over a quad xeon box that one would usually get for same applications
