I recognize good and evil in humans, but its more complex that that really. Yes the paradigm exists, but from a pagan perspective it is order and chaos. The gods of the Aseir represent Order and the Jotuns (giants or primordial beings) represent natures chaos. The world was created out of the body of the first Jotun Ymir by Odin and his brothers. In the perspective of the Jotunr the order of the gods is a tyranny over them. Depending on where you stand ones order can be a tyranny and chaos is needed to free themselves and on the other hand order is needed to reign in chaos
Satan is pulling out all the stops to desperately try and destroy the Church. Even though it's horrifying to look at the results, it's a vain effort in the end - Christ has already won, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail <:trumponder:582760214550544425> <:Emeritus:784586259136774154>
Please, the church is crumbling under the weight of its own hubris.
the church is not the same as the Word
^
The Church gave you the Word
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Seems Christians dont like equal criticism.
I wouldn't equate a whore god who is flawed in almost every way to an infinite deity, that dictates the morality of all creation.
A whore god lol the same “God” whos claim to fame is he was born from my “virgin” in the desert. Likely story.
Flawed like every human on earth thats what makes thr gods relatable
You see thats the difference between the old gods and the Christian god
A god should not be 'relatable'
They lose their divinity that way
We don’t worship perfection thats utter ridiculous because they reflect our our flaws and our strengths.
Can't expect people to obey your will if you are prone to flaws
Then how do you connect with your god if he isnt relatable
The gods don’t demand like your god
Its about relationship building
Zeus is a tyrant yes, Odin is a tyrant in ways yes. But they dont demand anything
The christian faith is all about relationship building. However our God isn't some warped perversion of humanites 'strengths and weaknessess'
What you call perversion I call natural law
Perfection is a false god
Even christ himself was not perfect in Early life
Elaborate because that is untrue buddy
I was taught a story in CCD as a child where Jesus murdered a child with his powers or some shit
I dont remember details
