I used to know a pretty successful mix engineer who was socialist. To him, he was an underdog because he was friends with the guys who mix Metallica and ACDC and own mansions, lol... never thought of all the hungry young guys who envied his shit

I think it's similar with the Hollywood champagne socialists - they hang out with bigger movie stars and elites and think they'll become even higher on the ladder under redistribution. Or it won't apply to them
