My small town actually had another sheriff run for election. After we've had our current sheriff for 25 years. The challenger didn't air any grievances, just your standard turtle polished resume. And our sheriff for the past 25 years had never done anything to cause concern. That I was a little surprised that our 25 year sheriff had a D and the challenger had an R. It didn't matter to me, the incumbent D sheriff never enforced any ridiculous gun grabs or anything of the sort to piss us off, so I don't care that he had a D, I voted for him, and he won the election.

I used to live in Hillsborough county, where Tampa is. I voted last time I lived there for the R sheriff, ended up being a cuck when all the riots were happening. Current one has been doing the job for 30 years, said don't come into peoples homes. I want them to blow you away,

There was some legit peaceful protests. Only one in my actual area that got bad was they blocked a major intersection and some car hit someone so they all bashed it in
