That's always how they do it
meanwhile anyone who understands science at all realizes that there's so much more to it than believing the first thing a "scientist" says
The moment they can't use their own limited intellect to make up a supporting argument or even an initial argument, they'll retort back with
"Are you an expert on _____? What're your credentials"
Almost as if the thought of an informed opinion is strange to them if it goes against their hive-mind programming
"Mine? Nothing. What are yours? Or are you just parroting their posisiton?"
I mean, I can throw up being a pharmacist for 5 years up there, but no.
Anyone else here have their career killed by the safest pandemic ever and wondering how things haven't fallen apart yet? Like I had to break my lease and move across the country into my Dads house like im lucky hes letting me but how are people getting by?
Shit's a lazy stance
Well they don't want to listen to reason, if they could or would we wouldn't be in this mess
I've seen more than a few left-wing pepegas (and you can tell by their facebook profile filters all about staying home, wearing masks, etc) tell me they'll take the first vaccine they can because they "believe in science and aren't science deniers"...
but anyone who understands science and more importantly, how the medical and research industries work, knows that there are huge risks and that rushed implementations can have unknown issues
Lol believe in science.
Until it becomes an argument about chromosomes and hormones
I just like how science suddenly said to quarantine healthy people for months on end
You cant even argue about chromosomes, you literally have a XY(s) or XX(s)
Any number of Y equals male. Otherwise female.
Take wizard for example, he is 100% missing a few chromosomes maybe sex chromosomes
Dont make me yeet you into the bog

This is what I have been saying since GET have funded the vaccine development.
The timeline for the vaccine is WAAAAAAY too short to be both effective and safe. There's not enough trials to fully map out what the side-effects are apart from death or incapacitation. The timeline doesn't allow for documentation of long-term effects either
Exactly. Not only that, but there's massive political and financial pressure to rush it out, and little media to investigate if there are reported issues
Anyone else remember when that final debate moderator suddenly asserted we'd be wearing masks until 2022? Like was that just made up on the spot
Cancer kills, and has killed how many more people on this earth, we know this, we study it's impact and how to eradicate it. It's natural. We can't cure this, but we can make COVID this catastrophic thing and cure it within months.
Please be patient I have autism
Press X for fucking doubt.
Remember how we didn't lose jobs over SARS and MERS
If there was one critical piece of criticism you could give Trump its that he went along with operation warp speed and released a deadly vaccine thats not been thoroughly tested
I actually have a hat that says that.
Or Ebola
I got into an argument with a lefty on a friend's FB post. His entire argument was "I have a PHD in (unrelated field) therefore I am smarter than you and an expert. So I'm right."
I get away with a lot.
"No, you're educated. Not intelligent"
Then argued that it wasnt an appeal to authority fallacy, because it's only a fallacyy if the authority isn't a real expert
I called him a "moron with a piece of paper". My friend got a kick out of that 🤣
The title of 'doctor' always will cross someone's mind as "oh he must know what he's talking about"
It's like in the military
Lieutenants are just privates with a degree
Yep.
Shit, I could join up tomorrow and be a 2nd LT right out of basic.
I have a Bachelor's in Political Science. So, by their own logic, I can talk about everything and everyone has to listen to me. I like this plan.
