We will always have poor management, we're overfunded
Ben Carson has actually done shit to fix it
but still, personal transport in the US is much more preferrable, as a ton of us live in suburbs and not inner cities
where i live public transportation is a godsend
Then you have to expand public transport to those areas aswell
We can't
Why not?
Too many suburbs
it’s not as useful in the suburbs
^^^
We're not very condensed in the suburbs
and not everybody works in that specific city
the amount it would cost to staff and get vehicles and such out there wouldn’t work
the only type of transportation you’ll see out there are trains taking people to their jobs in the city
I like trains a fuck ton
To me the suburbs look pretty densily populated tbh
Where do you live?
and what are you using?
Countryside in Sweden
exactly
I live in the most densly populated suburb
Philadelphia
outside of it
and here, we're spread out wayyyy far
we can't use public transport except for schools
other cities are even farther spread
it's just not economical for the states
I am not sure how the distance is the issue?
You would still have to travel it regardless, the issue is the amount of demand for public transport
we live at least 50+ miles away fro even some other suburbs
dang
Nobody uses public transport, and at that, more people live in my State alone than the entirely of Sweden
Who was teh bitch that ping
so there is an issue
a very, 345 million large nation, of an issue
Most of your daily transportation goes through those distances of 50+ miles?
but you would have to route many, many more buses to accomodate those extra people
nobody here rides the bus from my suburb to Philly
and most people don't even work in Philly
If it worked, I'd throw my support behind it
