Waiting lists and the inability to get fast treatments is a recurring struggle for countries with free public healthcare. You can look at Canada with their waiting lists. Even some of the countries that people think are the best have horrible wait times. Norway is an example. You can wait years with a terrible issue that makes life hell just to get treatment. Taxes are ridiculously high as well, but I already know it would be argued that the free healthcare makes up for it. People in these countries tend to get private healthcare as soon as they can if they intend on using it.
That is why I think Canada should have a private option also
Which we don't
taxes dont fund federal programs in the us
For those who have the money and want to choose the care they get
idc about taxes atleast for now
Tbh plenty of things in the US are politicized
You can thank the last couple decades of corruption for that
From both left and right
I'm not talking about US healthcare
But more so democrats
I'm talking about other countries healthcare
I even noted an example for you
certain countries have very similar waiting times tho. This is because 100 percent of there pop has healthcare and on average they go to more regular doctors visits. Not saying 1 system is perfect tho
ya ik you brought up taxes
I brought up other countries taxes
my response was (or should have been) that does not matter in the us
im referring to programs in the us,
Okay
how would they work in the us and what can we learn from other countrie
