At least over here

2018-05-13 12:23:30 UTC

And that impacts your score

2018-05-13 12:23:45 UTC

they're no more effort to use than debit cards, so I don't see why not?

2018-05-13 12:24:05 UTC

Buying a house is an investment to most that they can't wait until retirement to do so. It fixes the price for them while thier property increases in value so they can retire, sell it and live off the savings

2018-05-13 12:24:22 UTC

dont forget what the US housing bubble did

2018-05-13 12:24:50 UTC

I bet its going to be like that but worse in australia and hong kong

2018-05-13 12:24:57 UTC

and hong kouver

2018-05-13 12:26:01 UTC

Can't really avoid them and part of what caused it is there were way more people than could pay buying homes. Right now its a very cool market technically speaking because banks are still skittish about loaning people money for houses.

2018-05-13 12:27:09 UTC

The ones that can do pay on time and the problem of rising costs of housing is not as bad if people can pay the inflated prices.

2018-05-13 12:27:46 UTC

I hope when I eventually own a house in a few years it isn't like sydney

2018-05-13 12:28:15 UTC

I seen some nice houses for about 600k in the developmental areas and that's p damn cheap

2018-05-13 12:28:39 UTC

there isnt really any second tier cities in australia tho

2018-05-13 12:28:59 UTC

and if you're in hong kong you're just have to buy a property in the *new territories*

2018-05-13 12:29:32 UTC

Aside from Sydney, Melbourne has been ranked the most liveable city in (the world?) for about 3 years now

2018-05-13 12:29:45 UTC

I dont really like the IEU's top contenders

2018-05-13 12:29:56 UTC

I prefer the monocle's rankings

2018-05-13 12:30:13 UTC

I remember once we had homeless people near the city train station which is one of our monuments

2018-05-13 12:30:20 UTC

So we started "renovating" it and kicked them out

2018-05-13 12:30:30 UTC

I dont know which one is that tho

2018-05-13 12:30:41 UTC

Flinders Street station

2018-05-13 12:30:48 UTC

oh that

2018-05-13 12:31:04 UTC

They repainted the whole exterior and it looks so much nicer

2018-05-13 12:31:25 UTC

all I remember is the fancy tokyo tower clone and the the cube with the square next door

2018-05-13 12:31:33 UTC
2018-05-13 12:31:39 UTC

ah federation square

2018-05-13 12:31:59 UTC

It's a funny pun because there's an actual square on the square

2018-05-13 12:37:33 UTC

never not

2018-05-13 12:38:22 UTC

I feel like there's an odd extra similarity to real life with that mmo story

2018-05-13 12:38:37 UTC

I can never wear white underwear because of those piss drops smfh

2018-05-13 12:38:55 UTC

yeah the housing crisis of today yes?

2018-05-13 12:39:01 UTC

digitalization, globalization etc has been around as long as mmos...

2018-05-13 12:39:29 UTC

as in, the ease of buying and managing property remotely without having to juggle phones and real estate agent physical mail

2018-05-13 12:40:05 UTC

the whole real estate renting business is much more managable and expandable nowadays compared to years ago

2018-05-13 12:40:10 UTC

I apply for jobs online, get online interviews, and if they need more info they call me. Very interesting times. I can get a job without leaving my house.

2018-05-13 12:40:22 UTC

so real life real estate is a matured-mmo

2018-05-13 12:41:04 UTC

matured mmos tend to have fucked markets of people that have been around for way longer than everyone else amassing way too much wealth and random shit

2018-05-13 12:41:19 UTC

ultra inflation i suppose

2018-05-13 12:41:54 UTC

i suppose it's actually just causation//whateverthe fuck and I am tripping and jaden smithing

2018-05-13 12:42:49 UTC

ehhhh, what I'm saying is we've had 2 ish decades of ez digital management 4 plebs

2018-05-13 12:43:07 UTC

so the same amount of time that older mmos have been around
