yea but in the wrong way, that by disobeying God they think they are gods, because that is the final lie Satan told

but the Bible in Psalms and Jesus does say that "you are gods, sons of the Most High" so the only way you can really be a god in truth is by being like God, by being his son

and to be his son you must follow Jesus

I think feeling the influence and teachings of god in an individual is good but that this sense of being god is just arrogance

Psalm 82:6
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Seems pretty clear to me.

Ignoring the word of God to support ones own held definition of human seems like arrogance to me.

where Satan lied it was very very subtle how he did it, he pretty much told Eve she would be liek God by disobeying God. Obviously he lied, and so they lost immortality, they began to die

the more one obeys and learns from Jesus and is reconciled to God the more they become like God and are gods.

to the contrary, the more they disobey God and are deceived, the more they become animalistic and earthly jsut like Satan the wicked old dragon

Look around and notice no other animal on this planet can realize its own limited lifespan.

Among many other things that separate us from the animal.

We are his offspring, he dwells within us.

well man was made in the image of God, and before he disobeyed he was very much like God, God pretty much gave them all his authority over everything

that's why when Satan, whom is an animal, deceives people into disobeying God they become less like God and more like an animal like Satan and he basically becoems their father

the Father wants his children and will dwell with them in New Jerusalem which is in essence the Bride, the true Church. It's in a figure of a family

We have the agency to not only realize that we will one day die, which no other animal has.

We can choose from Good and Evil. I mean we have so many unique characteristics that have shown that we are indeed the offspring of God and made in his image.

the animals can realize they'll die one day, lol Satan will realize it one day when he gets thrown down here and barred from heaven, and he'll be extraordinarily wrathful

I dont think so. They can realize when they are being hunted or threatened.
