Vicarius Filii Dei (Latin: Vicar or Representative of the Son of God) is a phrase first used in the forged medieval Donation of Constantine to refer to Saint Peter, a leader of the Early Christian Church and regarded as the first Pope by the Catholic Church.

2020-10-17 07:46:31 UTC

Some Protestants identify the Roman Papacy with the Number of the Beast (666) from the book of Revelation, and believe that the phrase Vicarius Filii Dei, reduced to its Roman numerals, sums up to 666, where "U" is taken as "V" (two forms of "V" developed in Latin, which were both used for its ancestor "U" and modern "V"). To produce 666, the sum works as follows: VICARIVS FILII DEI = 5+1+100+1+5+1+50+1+1+500+1 = 666

2020-10-17 07:46:36 UTC

the oddities all around us haha

2020-10-17 07:49:41 UTC

yea the protestants always do that shit, using jew nonsense numerology magic to find a way to shit on the catholics lol

2020-10-17 07:50:16 UTC

even so tho

2020-10-17 07:50:17 UTC

the protestants don't nearly get nearly as much shit for beign massive heretics in almost every way

2020-10-17 07:50:23 UTC

i have an issue with this title

2020-10-17 07:50:31 UTC

Vicar or Representative of the Son of God

2020-10-17 07:50:34 UTC

i mean the catholics defintiely became heretics, but i mean damn protestantism, you were born into it

2020-10-17 07:51:50 UTC

The Catholics usually believe the church has divine authority, and they pray to saints, angels, Mary, The Pope, whatever. That’s what concerns me most about that faith.

Many Christians do not see how toxic anger is, or they end up in what I call “cult of guilt” Christianity, where they always live in fear and keep doing terrible things and asking for forgiveness over and over. Or they forget that Jesus said loving thy neighbor fulfills the law, and they believe they have to basically be like the Amish to be Christian, or even destroy American historical monuments because of an Old Testament verse in a different context.

2020-10-17 08:10:31 UTC

well the Amish are heretics too lol lots of Amish around here in Ohio actually

2020-10-17 08:11:44 UTC

aye they do claim divine authority, even to change the Sabbath and other things

2020-10-17 08:12:29 UTC

lol in fairness this clip while hilarious Merlin ended getting exiled and shunend for turning to Amish witchcraft lol

2020-10-17 08:12:39 UTC

2020-10-17 08:12:47 UTC

the catholics talmud basically lol

2020-10-17 08:12:48 UTC

so he not really amish no more

2020-10-17 08:12:57 UTC

and then a few years a go there were the Beard Cuttings

2020-10-17 08:13:26 UTC

Aren’t the Catholics suddenly okay with feminism and abortion now? Damn.

2020-10-17 08:13:43 UTC

all the churches of stone be fallign away just ike the prophecies say they would

2020-10-17 08:14:34 UTC

but at same time ultimately the True Church then becomes unified Christendom's last generations in the early parts of the book of the Apocalypse

2020-10-17 08:16:41 UTC

In the Convert’s Catechism of Catholic Doctrine, we read:

Q. By what authority did the Church substitute Sunday for Saturday?
A. The Church substituted Sunday for Saturday by the plenitude of that divine power which Jesus Christ bestowed upon her!

Q. Which is the Sabbath day?
A. Saturday is the Sabbath day.
